Really, is there anything better than watching your favorite movie with a cup full of Cherrios? I mean, really? How could life get any better. Oh wait, yes it can get better...have you totally adorable sister tag along trying to swipe your "O's" every chance she gets! Luckily, Devon loves Isabelle so much and he usually never really complains about Snatch-zilla.
On Friday, Scott had the day off and we all decided to head over to Seattle for a fun KID day at the Children's Museum at the Seattle Center. So we headed off to the BIG CITY! Of course we multi tasked our trip and got a new lens for my camera....sweet! Before we got to the museum, we had lunch at Subway. It was so much fun watching Devon drink from a straw and Isabelle wiggle in my lap.
We researched the place online and it appeared there was a section within the museum that would fit both kids. It was called the Discovery Zone. Well, upon arrival, we were faced with the disheartening sign that read "Discovery Zone CLOSED!" URgh So, we decided to take the plunge and head in anyway. Aside from being kind of lame, Devon and Isabelle were fully entertained the entire time. So, I guess in the end, it was a success.
So, one we arrived home, we all got snuggly in pajamas and watched our current favorite movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". The way that Devon asks to watch this cinematic triumph is "meatball" and he then points to the TV. If you ignore him, he will get you the three remotes it takes to play a movie. Way too cute not to put it on for him. Now of course, Isabelle is fully and completely addicted to watching the TV. Ahhh, now we actually have limits on when the TV is on in the house. I do fear on a daily basis I am turning into my parents! :) I guess there would be worse things to have happen in the world!
